Bees are fascinating for so many reasons. They are millions of years old, have outlived the dinosaurs, and are the only reason we have so many unique fruits and vegetables available year-round to eat, and without them, the whole world will starve.<\/p>\n

In our brief\u00a0excursion of bees, we take a final moment to marvel at the very cool and quirky nature of different species here and abroad.<\/p>\n

Australia is home to many native bees that\u00a0deserve our attention, care and curiosity. We need to ditch our backyard hives and make homes suitable for our very special native bees that live in caves and hollows.<\/p>\n

Building a bee hotel like the one in our bee poster is an excellent opportunity to attract native bees\u00a0and learn more about their\u00a0wondrous, solitary and unique\u00a0abilities.<\/p>\n
